Introduction
MOVE.HORSE, operated by Horsense shop s.r.o., is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website and our MoveHorse mobile application.
Data Collection
We collect data you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, business details (for transporters), and payment details. When you use our services, we also collect the content you create, such as transport requests, trip details, and messages exchanged through in-app chat.
We use Google Analytics for website performance monitoring. The mobile application collects a device push notification token so we can deliver notifications to your device.
Location Data
The MoveHorse mobile application collects precise location data from transporters during an active trip to provide live trip tracking — the core feature of the service. With your permission, location collection continues while the app is in the background so that tracking is not interrupted while you drive. Location tracking runs only during an active trip that you start, and stops when the trip ends. Trip location history is stored so that trip participants (the transporter and their client) can view the route.
We do not collect location data when no trip is active, and we do not sell location data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Camera and Microphone
The MoveHorse mobile application can use your device's camera and microphone to let transporters broadcast a live video stream of the horse to their client during a trip. The camera and microphone are only active while you are streaming, which you start and stop manually. Streams are delivered through our streaming infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) and are available only to the trip participants.
Push Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications about trip updates, messages, and requests relevant to your account. Your device push token is stored securely and linked to your account. You can disable push notifications at any time in the app settings or your device settings.
Use of Personal Data
Collected data is used for account management, service provision (including trip tracking, live streaming, and messaging between clients and transporters), and communication. Payment details are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Data Retention
User data is retained for as long as the account remains active. Payment records are stored for the legally required period (typically 5-10 years). Trip and message history is retained while your account is active so participants can access it. Users can request data deletion, except where retention is required for legal reasons.
User Rights
Users have the right to access, update, export, or request the deletion of their personal data. Requests can be submitted by email to hi@move.horse and will be handled within the timeframes required by applicable law (including the GDPR).
Data Security
We implement security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to operate our services: Stripe and PayPal (payment processing), Google Analytics (website analytics), Google Firebase (push notification delivery), Auth0 (authentication), and Cloudflare (live stream delivery and infrastructure). These providers process data on our behalf and have their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hi@move.horse and we will delete it.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or website announcements.
