Why this matters
A horse transporter's working day happens behind the wheel, yet clients expect answers by message — and quickly. Most enquiries ask the same things: what would this route cost, when could you take the horse, do you cover my area. Each answer needs a calculation or a look at the schedule, which is hard to do from the cab and easy to postpone. Postponed replies are lost clients: a person moving a horse usually messages several carriers and books the one who answers first.
Hiring someone to watch the inbox around the clock rarely makes sense for a small transport business. So evenings go to answering messages, and weekends to catching up on quotes. Language adds friction too — international routes bring enquiries in languages you may not speak. The most routine part of communication ends up consuming the least available resource: the owner's time.
An AI assistant takes over that first conversation. It knows your business, calculates a quote for any route, suggests available transportation dates, and replies instantly in the client's own language. It doesn't book trips — once the client has what they need, it forwards the request to a human administrator, so you stay in control of every deal. Enquiries get answered while you drive, and potential clients aren't lost to silence. And since you tune it individually — from its name to what it's allowed to do — it answers like your business, not like a generic bot.
How to use it

Setup happens in your transporter account, in the mobile app or the browser: open "Tools" and select "AI Assistant". You configure the assistant's preferences: a friendly name, a widget color to match your brand, and a widget language. The language setting only affects the buttons — the assistant itself always speaks the client's language. Then comes the knowledge base: links or text with the information about your company the assistant should know. Under capabilities, you decide what it's allowed to do — whether it may calculate quotes or check your schedule. There's also a "Tell us what you need" field: describe anything that would improve your assistant, and the team will do its best to implement it. When everything is set, tap "Activate assistant".
From there, the assistant can work in three places, and you can use all of them together. Embed it on your own website as a chat widget by adding a small code snippet before the closing body tag — WordPress users can paste it through the "Header and Footer Scripts" plugin. Connect your Facebook page with the "Connect Facebook Page" button, and the assistant handles Messenger conversations on behalf of your page; at the client's request, the chat switches to normal mode and continues with your human operator. And with the "Show on public profile" toggle active, the assistant chat is available to potential clients right on your move.horse page.
In every channel the flow is the same: the assistant answers the questions clients most often ask, gives quotes and available dates when allowed, and gathers the details of the request. Booking stays with you — the assistant forwards the prepared request to the human administrator instead of confirming trips itself. You get a client who already has their answers, and a conversation that's ready to close.
Frequently asked questions
What can the AI assistant do for my transport business?
It handles communication with new clients on your behalf: it knows your business information, calculates a quote for any route, and suggests available transportation dates. When the client has the information they need, it forwards the request to your human administrator.
Does the assistant book trips on its own?
No. In the current version the assistant doesn't book trips — it gives the client the most requested information and then hands the conversation over to a human administrator, so every booking decision stays with you.
What language does the assistant speak?
Always the client's language, automatically. The language you pick in the settings only applies to the widget's buttons, so one assistant can serve clients across all your operating countries.
Where can clients talk to my assistant?
In three places, which you can use together: as a chat widget embedded on your own website, in Facebook Messenger on behalf of your Facebook page, and on your public move.horse profile when the "Show on public profile" toggle is active.
Can I control what the assistant is allowed to do?
Yes. In the capabilities settings you allow or forbid it to calculate quotes or check your schedule, and the knowledge base — links or text you provide — defines what it knows about your company. You can also request further improvements through the "Tell us what you need" field.
Can a client switch to a real person?
Yes. In Facebook Messenger, the assistant switches the chat to normal mode at the client's request, and the conversation continues with your human operator as usual. If the client is ready to make an order, has additional questions, or just wants to speak to a human, the assistant creates a ticket so the administrator can contact them directly.
