Why this matters
For a horse transporter, every incoming order starts with the same question: is this trip worth taking? Answering it properly means checking the distance, estimating fuel, factoring in the driver's time, and comparing all of that against the quote you'd normally charge. Done by hand, that's a mix of map apps, fuel maths, and gut feeling — for every single enquiry. When requests arrive daily from different channels, from Facebook messages to move.horse, the calculation work quietly eats hours of your week.
Guessing instead of calculating is risky in both directions. Quote too high and the client books someone else; quote too low and you drive the route at a loss. There's also a bigger opportunity that's easy to miss: a new order might fit into a trip you've already scheduled. Spotting such combinations manually means holding your whole calendar, every route, and every free stall in your head at once. Most of the time those merges simply never get found, and half-empty lorries drive routes that could have paid twice.
The Route analyzer moves this work from guesswork to numbers. In seconds you see the distance, time, cost, and your standard quote for any route — whether you typed it in yourself or received it as a request. It also checks your scheduled trips and points out which of them the new order can be merged with. That means faster replies to clients, quotes you can defend, and fewer kilometres driven with empty spaces. And since it works in the browser and the mobile app, you can run the numbers from the cab as easily as from the office.
How to use it

There are two ways to start an analysis. For a custom route, tap the "Analyze route" button on your dashboard and enter the addresses yourself. For an incoming order, open the Requests screen, select the request you're interested in, and tap "Analyze" — the Route analyzer opens with all fields pre-filled from the request. Either way, you land on the same Analyze route screen.
There you check the route details: the pick-up and destination points, and whether the route should include the distance from and to your base. You also set the number of horses, which is used to calculate your quote, and the vehicle, which determines fuel consumption and cost. Tap "Analyze route", and in a couple of seconds the result appears. It shows the route distance and estimated time, the route cost based on the fuel price and an optional driver's rate, and your standard quote for this route.
At the bottom of the results screen sits the Merging button. If the new route can be combined with any of your scheduled trips, the app gives you recommendations. The merging engine considers both the route itself and the number of free spaces in your vehicle, so it only suggests combinations you can actually load. From the results you can schedule the trip right away, or simply close the tool if the order isn't worth it. Either way, you've answered the "is it worth taking" question with numbers instead of a guess.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Route analyzer show for a new order?
It shows the route distance and estimated time, the route cost calculated from the fuel price and an optional driver's rate, and your standard quote for that route. If you have scheduled trips, it also recommends which of them can be merged with the new route.
Can I analyze a route that didn't come in as a request?
Yes. Click the "Analyze route" button on your dashboard and enter any custom addresses — the analysis works the same way as for incoming requests.
How do I analyze an incoming transport request?
Open the Requests screen, select the request, and tap the "Analyze" button. The Route analyzer opens with all fields pre-filled according to that request, so you only review the details and run the analysis.
How does the analyzer decide which trips can be merged?
The merging engine compares the new route with your scheduled trips and considers the number of free spaces in your vehicle. If a match is found, you'll see the recommendations under the Merging button on the results screen.
Does the cost calculation include my driver's pay?
It can. The route cost is based on the fuel price, and you can optionally add the driver's rate; fuel consumption itself is calculated from the vehicle you select.
Can the route include the distance from my base?
Yes. On the Analyze route screen there's an option to include the distance from and to your base, so the cost reflects the full round trip rather than just the client's route.
